Erreà and Benetton Rugby unveil the new official kits for the forthcoming Guinness Pro 14 season

The key feature of Benetton Rugby’s new kits from Erreà, for the 2018 - 2019 Guinness Pro 14 Season is that they are both stylistically and technologically innovative.

The first shirt, in the traditional green and white colours, has been completely revamped in terms of graphic and stylistic design. With simple and clean lines, and entirely transfer printed, the image of the lion, the company's symbol, printed tone on tone in the middle of the shirt makes it strikingly powerful. The design is enriched by the green background which is not sharp, but embellished by a dotted pattern in the top and and bottom parts of the shirt, with stripes in the centre.

A distinctive feature of the collar is the broad white insert which on the front has the green, white and red of the Italian flag and on the inside the motto “E’ ORA DI RUGGIRE” (It’s time to roar). The white edgings are repeated on the ends of the sleeves and down the sides. The really innovative part comes in the form of the fabric used and the technology applied to the new top. A small pocket, created using a soft and very elasticated yarn, is located on the back of the shirt, just below the collar and is designed specifically to take the GPS device that monitors and records the players’ performances throughout the match.

Another innovative feature is the “Ruck” fabric, which is characterised by its excellent resistance and hold, combined with exceptional elasticity and wearability properties. To assist and optimise the catching of the ball, the middle part of the shirt, at chest height, features a distinctive rubberised serigraph, designed specifically for rugby.

The away shirt also sports traditional colours, with the same model and fabric, but it uses shades of blue as the base colour, with white inserts in the collar and sleeves and down the sides, and some gradated blue in the centre.
