The new Sauber C36-Ferrari bearing the Erreà Sport logo presented!
The new Sauber C36-Ferrari, the latest single-seater from the Sauber F1 Team which in 2017 is celebrating its 25th season in Formula One, was presented yesterday.
Logoed Erreà Sport on the headrest, the new Sauber C36-Ferrari has undergone substantial modifications from last year with the aim of being newly competitive and returning to the successes of the past. The car is wider overall (including tyres, nose, and rear wings) and the changes will enable better grip between tyres and asphalt, with a resulting increase in speed on curves. Extensive aerodynamic development work on the car also led to a significant reduction of its total weight and a design as slim as possible of side pods and body work. Combining great aerodynamic stability and improved grip was the main focus of the Sauber F1 Team’s work.
The car’s official first outing will take place on the occasion of the winter tests on the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya from 27 February to 2 March.
